(Article) Sad Story About Music & People
A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.
A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.
The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.
In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.
Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?
One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

The FBI might shutdown the Internet on March 8
Millions of computer users across the world could be blocked off from the Internet as early as March 8 if the FBI follows through with plans to yank a series of servers originally installed to combat corruption.
Last year, authorities in Estonia apprehended six men believed responsible for creating a malicious computer script called the DNSChanger Trojan. Once set loose on the Web, the worm corrupted computers in upwards of 100 countries, including an estimated 500,000 in America alone. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation later stepped up by replacing the rogue Trojan with servers of their own in an attempt to remediate the damage, but the fix was only temporary. Now the FBI is expected to end use of those replacement servers as early as next month and, at that point, the Internet for millions could essentially be over. -RT News
They are taking our freedoms away left and right. Not to be assholes, but because they (our government) are scared of losing their own freedoms in which they have created by, our lack of knowledge. With the internet in our lives, things had starter to change for the best, people are aware of what is ACTUALLY happening and reacting to things that are going on. 'My Dream Last Night' by Robert Muraine's Brain
I went to the rusty pelican (a restaurant near my house), and some white security guy was being an asshole for some reason, so rode my bike to my grandmother's house, chilled out side with my homies, Rome and Tarra who are basically neighbors to me. Then I find myself riding my bike to and near the library in town with some random Indian kids. They lit some plant that looked like a tumble weed on fire, it started crackling very loudly like fire crackers. After that we rode away on our bike to avoid the cops, I easily slip pass one, but then the cop called out to me right after I already passed him, he said, "Are you racist?" I said, "No". He then said, "Come here". I sat on the lunch table at St. Dominic's Elementary School (across the street from the library). He took my blood pressure to see if I was high, and said, "You are high". I sat at the lunch table with a bunch of cops trying to talk my way out of it as they interrogated me. I started to flirt with the lady cop sitting next to me, I was really trying to talk my way out of this situation. Then finally the main cop said, "no, your going to North Ridge with us" (I dunno why North Ridge, realistically I think my brain meant to tell me "downtown". Anyways, I pulled out my weed license. They couldn't do anything. Then woke up.

So it turns out the mainstream media jumped the gun and announced that Mitt Romney won the Maine Caucus without all the votes being counted in. Supposedly they left out all the votes of an entire county in Maine, because of some weather related issues (aka some bullshit).
I am a strong supporter Ron Paul and his agenda. He's obviously the only candidate running for president with an actual brain, unlike all these suits trying to make their already deep pockets, even deeper.
Vote Ron Paul, and we might actually see a more peaceful future, not only in the USA but also on our real home, the planet earth.
