(Footage) Tank Man of UltraBlack Live in LA

Tank Man of Ultrablack headlined NenTech Recordings 10 Yr Anniversary Show! Which was held @ The Well in LA on 3446 S. Hill Street. A very discreet warehouse location in South LA, in the warehouse district.

The event started out nicely! When I got there around 11pm, it was already pretty packed. Even the hipsters found this one, but at least wasn't overloaded (which is hard to come by these days in LA) The first DJ playing was probably the highlight of my night. I really wish i could recall his name, but he did a garage-y vinyl set for an hour, he had really nice selection, and was very old school with it! Second DJ up had the music all over the place from gabber to dubstep, but wasn't really feeling it. For that hour, had to drink a lil extra to wait for the headliner! TankMan finally played, and the energy level of the place went up about 200% Since most people that listen to dubstep just wait for the drop-y hardass dubstep. All in all the event was great, never heard the same song twice, and the rewinds were kept down to a minimum. Even though the sound was a lil too bassy for how low the highs and mids were, everything kind of felt warm and fuzzy inside.. . Regaurdless of the smoke and drink plus every entry was donated to Japanese Red Cross Society which is also a plus :]

Enjoy this video I shot of the opening set of TankMan in action!
