POW Shadows is no new jack. He's been on the mic since the Golden Age of Hiphop, Rocked with KRS-One, Common. Jay-Z, Cypress Hill and Dilated Peoples to name a few. I toured with Brother J of X-Clan, Medusa and 2MEX in 2009. He has played Coachella with the Metamorphs in 2007. Started in Chattanooga, TN with Vibe Tribe in '92 then Moved to Nashville, TN in '94 and is now a Nashville legend. He has had 3 'indie label' record deals while in Nashville & relocated to L.A. in 2006. Now he is with LA Hiphop Nation (underground and independent) as the Owner.

With that all being said, POW SHADOWS has just released his NEW LP "P.O.W.W.O.W.", available on itunes, amazon, juno, beatport and other media outlets.



The first song "War...On Drugz" sets the tone of the whole album before getting you wrapped up mentally and lyrically with the album's content. "P.O.W.W.O.W." discusses the so-called War On Drugs and addresses "the drug problems" of the urban culture and society in general through music. The album is informative but also lyrically creative which keeps you tuned in. You can also buy "The Mental Threat E.P.", the 1st release from LA Hiphop Nation dropped on 4/20/11.
